Voltasis Launch: Track Time, Manage Projects, Send Invoices — All in One

We're excited to announce that Voltasis is now in closed beta. After months of development, we're inviting teams to try a platform that does what most businesses need three separate tools for: track time, manage projects, and send invoices — all in one place.

If you've ever juggled Harvest for time, Asana for projects, and QuickBooks for invoicing, you know the pain. Data lives in silos. Workflows break at the seams. And you're paying for three subscriptions when one integrated platform could handle it all. Voltasis was built to fix that.

What Voltasis Does

Voltasis rests on three pillars:

Time tracking — One-click timers, manual entry, and a native desktop app that works offline. Track time against projects and tasks, mark entries as billable or non-billable, and submit for approval. No screenshots, no keystroke logging, no surveillance. Just time and context.

Project management — Organize work by client and project. Set budgets, deadlines, and team assignments. Track progress and capacity. Everything connects to the time your team logs, so you see real effort against plans — not estimates in a vacuum.

Invoicing — Generate invoices from approved time entries. Multi-currency support for international clients. Send via email, record payments, and sync with accounting tools like Xero. Recurring invoices for retainers. The time-to-invoice workflow is built in, not bolted on.

The goal is simple: one platform for the core workflow that service businesses run on. Track what you do, organize how you work, and get paid for it.

Why We Built It

Tool Sprawl

Most teams use a time tracker, a project management tool, and an invoicing or accounting system. That's three logins, three data models, and three places where things can go wrong. Exporting time from Toggl into a spreadsheet, then copying it into an invoice template, is still how many agencies operate. We wanted a single place where time flows directly into invoices.

Privacy Concerns

Many time tracking tools offer "productivity monitoring" — screenshots, keystroke logging, app usage tracking. That creates real problems: employees working from home, GDPR compliance, and the simple fact that knowledge work doesn't fit surveillance. We built Voltasis with a privacy-first stance: we track time and context, not activity. No screenshots, no keystroke logging, no background monitoring.

Global Teams Underserved

Remote and distributed teams are the norm. But most tools treat internationalization as an afterthought. We're planning support for 11 languages and multi-currency from day one. Timezone-aware reporting, RTL support, and a platform that works for teams from Lisbon to Tokyo.

Fair Pricing

Enterprise PSA platforms charge $20–60 per user per month. Point solutions add up when you need three of them. We're offering a free tier for freelancers and $9 per user per month for teams. The full platform — time, projects, invoicing — at a price that doesn't require a finance committee to approve.

Key Features

Time tracking — One-click timers, manual entry, project and task assignment, billable/non-billable tagging. Submit entries for approval before they reach invoices. Desktop app with offline support and system tray access.

Projects and clients — Organize by client and project. Set budgets and track consumption. Assign team members and roles. See capacity and utilization at a glance.

Approval workflows — Managers review and approve time entries. Only approved entries flow into invoices. Catch errors before they reach clients.

Invoicing — Create invoices from approved time. Multi-currency support. Send via email. Record payments. Recurring invoices for retainers. PDF export.

Integrations — Xero sync for clients and invoices. More integrations planned.

Dashboard and reports — Utilization, billable hours, project budgets, and team capacity. Real-time visibility into where time is going.

Security and compliance — MFA support, GDPR-compliant architecture, role-based access. Your data stays yours.

Pricing

Free — For freelancers. One user, full time tracking, projects, and invoicing. No credit card required.

Pro — $9/user/month — For teams. Unlimited projects and clients, approval workflows, multi-currency invoicing, integrations, and priority support.

We're not trying to nickel-and-dime you with feature gates. The free tier includes the full time-to-invoice workflow. Pro adds collaboration, approvals, and scale.

What's Next

We're in closed beta and actively building. Here's what's on the roadmap:

Desktop app — A native desktop application with deep OS integration: menu bar timer, idle detection, offline-first sync. Currently in development.

More integrations — Additional accounting tools, project management connectors, and workflow automation.

AI features — Smarter suggestions for project assignment, time entry descriptions, and invoice line items. We're exploring how AI can reduce friction without compromising privacy.

Internationalization — 11 languages planned. Multi-currency is already live.

Feedback-driven improvements — We're listening. Beta users are shaping what we build next.
