Managing Clients
ProCreate and manage client records to organize projects, invoices, and contacts.
Clients in Voltasis represent the companies or individuals you do work for. Associating projects and invoices with clients keeps your billing organized and makes reporting straightforward. Client management is available on the Pro plan.
Create a client
- Go to Clients in the sidebar.
- Click New Client.
- Enter the client's name and email.
- Optionally, add a phone number, address, and notes.
- Click Create Client.
Edit a client
- Click on the client's name in the Clients list.
- Update any fields.
- Click Save.
Deactivate a client
When you stop working with a client, deactivate them rather than deleting:
- Open the client record.
- Click Deactivate from the actions menu.
- The client moves to the Inactive tab and appears with an "(inactive)" label throughout the app.
Deactivated clients are hidden from active lists and dropdowns but preserved in reports and historical invoices. You can reactivate a client at any time.
Search and filter clients
Use the search bar on the Clients page to find clients by name or email. Filter by:
- Status — Active or Inactive.
- Recent activity — Sort by most recently invoiced or most recently active.
Tip: Toggle "Show inactive" to see deactivated clients alongside active ones.
