Notification Center and Preferences

Configure how and when you receive notifications for approvals, mentions, and system events.

Voltasis sends notifications for important events like approval requests, rejections, budget alerts, and system updates. You can customize which notifications you receive and how they're delivered.

Access notification settings

  1. Go to Settings > Notifications (or click the bell icon and then Settings).
  2. Configure your preferences by category.

Notification categories

  • Time Tracking — Timer reminders, submission confirmations, approval results.
  • Approvals — New entries pending your approval, approval/rejection notifications.
  • Projects — Budget alerts (80% and 100%), project updates.
  • Invoicing — Invoice sent, viewed, paid, overdue alerts.
  • Team — New team member joined, role changes.
  • System — Security alerts, billing updates, maintenance notices.

Delivery channels

For each category, choose your delivery method:

  • In-app — Appears in the notification center (bell icon).
  • Email — Sent to your registered email address.
  • Push — Mobile app push notification (if the app is installed).

You can enable multiple channels per category.

Quiet hours

Set quiet hours to suppress non-critical notifications:

  1. Go to Settings > Notifications > Quiet Hours.
  2. Set start and end times.
  3. Only critical notifications (security alerts) are delivered during quiet hours.

Tip: Enable email notifications for approvals and budget alerts if you don't check the app frequently. These are time-sensitive and benefit from proactive delivery.
