Uninvoiced Time and Expenses

Find and invoice billable time entries and expenses that haven't been added to an invoice yet.

The Uninvoiced view helps you find billable time entries and expenses that haven't been included in an invoice yet. This prevents revenue from falling through the cracks.

Access uninvoiced items

  1. Go to Invoicing in the sidebar.
  2. Click the Uninvoiced tab.

View uninvoiced time

The uninvoiced time section shows:

  • All approved, billable time entries that are not yet on an invoice.
  • Entries are grouped by project and client.
  • Each group shows the total hours and total billable amount.

View uninvoiced expenses

Below the time entries, you see uninvoiced billable expenses:

  • Expenses marked as billable that haven't been added to an invoice.
  • Each expense shows the category, amount, and receipt status.

Create an invoice from uninvoiced items

  1. Select the entries and expenses you want to invoice.
  2. Click Create Invoice.
  3. Voltasis generates a new invoice with the selected items as line items.
  4. Review and send the invoice.

Tip: Use the project and date range filters to find uninvoiced items for a specific client or period. This is especially useful for monthly billing cycles.

Prevent missed revenue

Review the Uninvoiced tab regularly — especially before month-end close. Any billable work that isn't invoiced represents potential lost revenue.

Managers and Admins: Encourage team members to submit their time promptly. Unapproved time entries don't appear in the Uninvoiced view until they're approved.
