Mobile App Troubleshooting
Fix common issues with the Voltasis mobile app including sync problems, login errors, and performance.
If you're experiencing issues with the Voltasis mobile app, try these troubleshooting steps.
App won't sync
If data isn't syncing between the mobile app and the web:
- Check your internet connection (Wi-Fi or cellular data).
- Force-close the app and reopen it.
- Pull down on the main screen to trigger a manual sync.
- If the issue persists, log out and log back in.
Login issues on mobile
- Verify your credentials work on the web app first.
- Clear the app's cache: go to your phone's Settings > Apps > Voltasis > Clear Cache.
- Uninstall and reinstall the app.
- If using Google OAuth, ensure the correct Google account is signed in on your device.
Timer not tracking in background
iOS and Android may suspend background apps to save battery:
- iOS: Ensure Background App Refresh is enabled for Voltasis (Settings > General > Background App Refresh).
- Android: Disable battery optimization for Voltasis (Settings > Battery > Battery Optimization > Voltasis > Don't Optimize).
Push notifications not working
- Check that notifications are enabled for Voltasis in your device settings.
- In the Voltasis app, go to Settings and verify notification preferences.
- Force-close and reopen the app.
- On Android, check that "Do Not Disturb" mode isn't active.
App crashes
- Update the app to the latest version.
- Restart your device.
- If crashes continue, uninstall and reinstall the app.
- Report persistent crashes to support@voltasis.com with your device model and OS version.
Tip: Keep the Voltasis app updated. Each release includes bug fixes and performance improvements.
