Withdrawing Submitted Entries

Withdraw submitted time entries to make corrections before they are approved or rejected.

This article applies to: Employee, Contractor

If you've submitted time entries for approval but need to make changes, you can withdraw them — as long as they haven't been approved yet.

Withdraw a submitted entry

  1. Go to Time in the sidebar.
  2. Find the submitted entry (it shows a "Submitted" status badge).
  3. Click on the entry to open it.
  4. Click Withdraw.
  5. The entry returns to Draft status and you can edit it freely.

Bulk withdraw

  1. On the Time page, select multiple submitted entries using the checkboxes.
  2. Click Withdraw Selected.
  3. All selected entries return to Draft status.

When you can't withdraw

You cannot withdraw an entry that has already been:

  • Approved — Contact your manager or admin to reverse the approval.
  • Rejected — Rejected entries return to your queue automatically for editing. No withdrawal needed.
  • Invoiced — Entries that have been included in an invoice cannot be withdrawn.

Tip: Withdraw and correct entries as soon as you notice an error. Once your manager approves them, changes require admin intervention.
