Withdrawing Submitted Entries
ProWithdraw submitted time entries to make corrections before they are approved or rejected.
This article applies to: Employee, Contractor
If you've submitted time entries for approval but need to make changes, you can withdraw them — as long as they haven't been approved yet.
Withdraw a submitted entry
- Go to Time in the sidebar.
- Find the submitted entry (it shows a "Submitted" status badge).
- Click on the entry to open it.
- Click Withdraw.
- The entry returns to Draft status and you can edit it freely.
Bulk withdraw
- On the Time page, select multiple submitted entries using the checkboxes.
- Click Withdraw Selected.
- All selected entries return to Draft status.
When you can't withdraw
You cannot withdraw an entry that has already been:
- Approved — Contact your manager or admin to reverse the approval.
- Rejected — Rejected entries return to your queue automatically for editing. No withdrawal needed.
- Invoiced — Entries that have been included in an invoice cannot be withdrawn.
Tip: Withdraw and correct entries as soon as you notice an error. Once your manager approves them, changes require admin intervention.
