Creating Manual Time Entries

Add time entries manually when you forgot to start the timer or need to log past work.

If you forgot to start the timer or need to log time after the fact, you can create manual time entries.

Create a manual entry

  1. Go to Time in the sidebar.
  2. Click New Entry (or click on an empty time slot in the daily/weekly view).
  3. Select a project from the dropdown.
  4. Enter a description of the work.
  5. Set the time:
    • Enter a start time and end time, or
    • Enter a duration directly (e.g., "2h 30m" or "2.5").
  6. Choose the date for the entry.
  7. Optionally, add tags to categorize the work.
  8. Click Save.

Edit an existing entry

  1. Click on any time entry in your timesheet.
  2. Update the fields you want to change.
  3. Click Save.

Tip: You can quickly adjust the duration by clicking the time values directly in the timesheet view.

Delete an entry

  1. Click on the time entry to open it.
  2. Click Delete at the bottom of the entry form.
  3. Confirm the deletion.

Note: If you've already submitted the entry for approval, you need to withdraw it before you can edit or delete it.

Duplicate an entry

For recurring tasks, you can duplicate an existing entry:

  1. Click on a time entry to open it.
  2. Click Duplicate.
  3. Adjust the date and duration as needed.
  4. Click Save.
